*sigh

Any thought now of the 2008 season for the Buffalo Bills is met with a deep sigh. The Buffalo News published the obligatory postmortem for Buffalo’s team today; and I, like many others, had hoped not to read such a piece in early January. This graph, dominated with pools of red for the opponent over splashes of blue for the Bills, sums up how the season went. 

By no means did they get blown out week after week, except for the Arizona game -- they all too often just didn't show up. 

I’d like to say good riddance to 2008, but the off season is too long to not be filled with second thoughts and deep sighs.
