Vanek scores ...

Thomas Vanek scored is 26th goal of the season at 5:08 in the first period to put Buffalo in the lead, 2-0 (but, Boston has since scored making it 2-1 going into the second ... make that 3-1, Matt Ellis just scored his second goal of the game, third of the season). Vanek is now tied for second with Ovechkin. behind Jeff Carter, who has 27.  Vanek is on pace to score 54 goals this season, which would be his highest total in a season for his career. 

Of course, I'm not watching the Boston game ... I'm watching UB ...
